For those of you who are new around here, TeaChats are a monthly post that I do in which I pretend that you and I are going out and grabbing a cup of tea (or coffee or wine) and we’re chatting about what we’ve been up to lately.

The wonderful KarenJo tagged me in this, and it looked like fun! I’m excited to do this one. It’s kind of long, so let’s get right to it!
My In Love & Words Teen Reader, Kayla, and I decided to have a little spontaneous Q&A via text.
We each came up with two questions (at least one of them had to be bookish) and we both had to answer all the questions.
Good morning and happy Mother’s Day!
Just a quick tag post today because I plan on spending the day in my reading chair devouring books while watching my girls play nearby. It’s essentially what I did last year for Mother’s Day and my birthday and it’s absolutely perfect.
I wasn’t actually tagged in this, but it seemed like a fun tag, so I decided to tag myself 🙂
I originally discovered this tag over on The Book Dutchesses.
Kayla, my niece and teen reader here on the blog decided that once a month we’re going to do a mostly bookish Q&A podcast.
This is our first one (we recorded it a while ago, but I’m just now finally uploading it!) and we hope there will be many more. We had so much fun recording this together.
Note: There are a few spoilers for Caraval in this podcast!
Happy listening!
It’s the time of month where my wallet and will-power hate me. The time of month where I share a small collection of bookish items that I’ve been lusting after. The time of month where I drag you down the rabbit hole with me.
Let’s go.
Hello, lovelies! I have another fun tag for you today!
I saw this tag over on A Very Bookish Girl almost a year ago, but I saved the link because I knew I’d want to do it at some point.
Today is that day 😛
We all I know I love Goodreads, so let’s dig into my shelves with The Goodreads Tag!
Good evening, lovely friends! I’m sitting here in my library with my 5yo daughter while she does her homework. I love these quiet moments with her. I feel like it’s go, go, go all day during the week, it’s nice to sit down and relax together, working side by side.
Anyway, because I’m the slowest person ever, I’m finally doing this Blogger Recognition Award tag. I’m so grateful to have been recognized by two really kickass blogs for this award: Book Bosomed Blonde and Flying Paperbacks.
Give them a follow if you love books and great content!
