Title: Leo Loves Aries
Author: Anyta Sunday
Series: Signs of Love #1
Format: Audiobook available on Audible Escape
Synopsis:
A new person will enter your life in the early year, Leo. Look past any moments of frustration they might bring and laugh—this could be the start of a thriving friendship.
Theo Wallace usually laughs at the horoscopes his mom sends. Still hung up on his ex-girlfriend and practically friendless, this one begs him to reconsider. Because a friendship that stuck, that thrived…
Well, that would be a reason to leave past pains behind and look to the Bright Future.
When his sister Leone challenges him to find her the perfect date for a spring wedding, Theo uses it as a chance to make new friends. Theo’s ex economics tutor and newest roommate Mr Jamie Cooper seems to be a possible and convenient match. Real convenient. Like written in the stars, convenient.
All he has to do is make sure this Jamie is good enough. Could really be the one for her, and the friend for him.
But watch out, Leo, the stars have a surprise in store…
Review
Don’t judge this book by its cover.
That cover is kind of the worst, but the story inside was SO good.
I read this book on the recommendation of my sweet friend De’Siree (@genikireader on Instagram). She was swooning hard for this book and she was so right.
I fell in love with Theo pretty much immediately. He is one of those irreverent, hilarious heroes that warm my soul and make me laugh all at once. Paired with a love interest who is a bit more uptight, yet appreciates his charm – it’s the formula for the perfect romance for me.
I freaking adored Theo’s relationship with his mom and sister. Despite how he comes off as somewhat careless, he actually cares very deeply for the people he loves. He loves fiercely and I adored him for it.
The romance in this burned slowly with a ton of heat. I so appreciated how well the author pulled off how Theo’s attraction to Jamie completely took him by surprise. It was so believable, surprisingly enough. And I absolutely loved that.
I think, perhaps, the best thing about this book is how SWOONY it was. There were so many butterfly-inducing moments within it that had me feeling like I was floating on air. That’s exactly how I want to feel while reading a book – it’s what I strive for every time I pick up a romance and this one delivered.

I’ve heard only one other person talking about the series and I definitely think I need to pick up the first book. I have the third in the series, but I need to read the first before I can read that one. 😂

I actually think these books can be read as standalones, but I’m definitely the type of person who likes to read series in order – even if they can be read out of order! I read the second book recently, and I definitely liked this one more.

Well dang it! I had no idea they could be read as a standalone! But I’m on the same page with you, I really enjoy reading a series in order. It just has an air of making you excited for the books to come after the one you read. Ugh, killing me! What did you like best about the second book?

I loved the entire concept of the neighborhood that the main characters lived in and how everyone was super close – and getting a peek at Theo and Jamie, of course!

Oh my gosh, this is one of my favorite romance books. The whole series is fun, but there’s just something really special about Theo and Jamie.
