Review
I was blindsided by this novel.
This was my first Mia Sheridan novel, and though I’ve heard of the author before, I guess I never realized why she is so popular.
Well, my friends, I do now.
Archer’s Voice was devoured in one night. I made the mistake of starting it in the evening and didn’t sleep the entire night.
I fell so deeply in love with Archer and his entire story almost immediately. I also discovered a trope I had no idea was a thing, but now I’m obsessed and I need more: the virgin hero.
I feel like the virginal heroine is so annoyingly overdone, I tend to avoid those, but man, I didn’t realize just how appealing the virginal hero would be!
There is something about the innocence without it being childlike that completely drew me in and sent the butterflies going crazy.
Archer was a perfect mixture of that innocence and masculinity that had me absolutely swooning. Not to mention all the angst thrown in!
I’m slowly finding out as I’m reading more and more books by this author that no one does this type of dynamic better than her.
