Best friends since they could walk. In love since the age of fourteen.

Complete strangers since this morning.

He’ll do anything to remember. She’ll do anything to forget.

I had no idea what to expect from this series!

It was so interesting and different and I had absolutely no idea what was going on until the very end and it was glorious.

As usual, I adored Colleen Hoover’s characters and the romance, I always find myself hardcore rooting for the romances in her books and this was no different.

I so appreciated the uniqueness of this story and the ultimate reason for why these two characters were going through what they went through (I’m trying to be cryptic here so as not to give anything away.)

THIS is what a collaboration between two authors should be like: you seriously got the best from both of them. The things I love about Tarryn Fisher – her unique plotlines and voice paired with Colleen Hoover’s amazing characters and relationships made for such a thrilling story that was everything I loved… plus some things I didn’t expect to love.

Back when I read this book, I’d read several of Colleen Hoovers books, but I hadn’t read anything by Tarryn Fisher, so I went in pretty unprepared for what I got. And I think that was a good thing.

Now, looking back on it after reading Mud Vein and Atheists Who Kneel and Pray by Tarryn Fisher, I can very much see her influence on this series.

This was seriously a match made in heaven and I can’t believe more people haven’t been talking about it!
