Finale by Stephanie Garber (Caraval #3) {Review by Kayla}

Review by Kayla, In Love & Words Teen Reader

Overall Rating: 5 Stars
Title: Finale
Author: Stephanie Garber
Series: Caraval #3

It’s been two months since the Fates were freed from a deck of cards, two months since Legend claimed the throne for his own, and two months since Tella discovered the boy she fell in love with doesn’t really exist.

With lives, empires, and hearts hanging in the balance, Tella must decide if she’s going to trust Legend or a former enemy. After uncovering a secret that upends her life, Scarlett will need to do the impossible. And Legend has a choice to make that will forever change and define him.

Caraval is over, but perhaps the greatest game of all has begun. There are no spectators this time—only those who will win, and those who will lose everything.

Welcome, welcome to Finale. All games must come to an end…

Short Review
Warning: This book will kill you…in the very best way possible!

Long Review
This review is almost hard for me to do because I there aren’t enough long and complex words or colorful descriptions that will emphasize how stunning and mind shattering this book is. I couldn’t tell you how many times I was on the verge of tears or making incredibly weird noises because my breath was literally taken away by this book. I can easily say this is the best series and best book I have ever read and possibly will ever read in my entire lifetime. Throughout the book, I found myself having to take breaks just to breath and not speed through this book so I could savor it, I managed to finish it in two days instead of one. Before reading this, I reread Caraval and Legendary back to back so that I could remember every little detail and the books still managed to surprise me even after the number of times I’ve reread them (And I almost never reread books). After I was done reading it, I felt like I was glowing and practically floating on air with the magic and undeniable love in this book. The plot twists, the kisses, the descriptions, the relationships, and everything about this book was easily five stars. I’m not sure how this amazing series or book exists because it’s so original and unreal how magical and mind blowing this book is. Read it!

Butterfly Rating: 4 Stars

  1. So glad you loved this. I agree this book still oozes with magic, but sadly, it did not work on me this time. I don’t have regrets reading this series though. Caraval and Legendary are still awesome books to lose yourself into. 🙂

    1. At least you got to read it, hopefully next time there are ones that will work for you and yes you definitely do get lost in them!
