Synopsis:
We are told that God will punish the wicked. That sinful men will reap what they sow. We are told to scourge our souls with prayer and pain to become clean once again.

Well, here I am. Wicked and sinful. Desperate to become clean…even though it feels so good to be dirty.

But even I never expected what came next.

Even I never expected my punishment to come so soon.

GOODREADS

Review

I don’t know how I missed this book’s release, but somehow I did. Obviously, I had to rectify that situation.

Reading about what happens after the Happily Ever After is always intriguing. Particularly for a story as intense as Tyler and Poppy’s. One where there are some glaring open ends.

Much more than Priest, this book definitely pulls at the heartstrings. I was, of course, rooting so hard for these two, but I fully understood (and appreciated) why there were so many hiccups in their relationship. Tyler gave up so much for his love of Poppy, this story definitely needed to be told.

Usually, when an author revisits couples, it’s hard for me to have as many feels as I did as they are falling in love, but somehow I found that I was just as invested in these two as I was reading Priest.

As always, Sierra Simone’s words left me breathless. There are few things I love more than super smutty books written beautifully and Sierra certainly sets the bar.
