3-Day Lyrical Challenge: Day 1

Hey there fellow book lovers! I hope the new year is treating you well so far. It’s been lovely for me the past few days.

I was tagged in this challenge by three of my all-time favorite bloggers: Thrice Read, Discerning Couch Potato, and Whit Reads Lit. Thank you my lovely friends!

I’m a huge fan of great lyrics in songs, so narrowing it down to three is going to be incredibly hard for me!

I decided to break this challenge up into three different types of songs:

Day One: Love song lyrics
Day Two: Inspirational song lyrics
Day Three: Breakup song lyrics

I’m not brave enough to say these are my favorite love song lyrics, but they are most certainly up there… definitely Top 3.

Not only is this one of my all-time favorite love songs, but it’s sung by one of my all-time favorite singer/songwriters and I love the song as a whole.

I think it’s gorgeous and soothing and the wordplay in the lyrics are so poetic. I bow down to Jason Mraz’s lyrical abilities. I love when writers do this whether it’s in poetry, lyrics, or prose.
