Here are the reviews that are coming up over the next few weeks + their mini-reviews!
Royally Matched (Royally, #2)
by Emma Chase ★★★★★ All signs pointed to me not enjoying this book… it’s based around a royalty reality show – two things I have very little interest in, but my God, this book surprised me!
Getting Schooled (Getting Some #1) by Emma Chase ★★★★ This book was a little bit of the opposite. I had high expectations that weren’t quite met, but like the first book in the Royally series, I really enjoyed it anyway.
Submission (Submission #1) by C.D. Reiss ★★★ This was the first CD Reiss book that I didn’t love. Maybe it is timing, maybe it was mood, maybe I’m in a slump, but this book just didn’t impact me the way some of CD’s other books have.
Always and Forever, Lara Jean (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #3) by Jenny Han★★★★ Everything I loved in the previous two books, I loved in this one. I loved the relationships, I loved the characters, and I loved the couple. I did kind of feel like this was a bit unnecessary, though. I think the series could’ve ended with the second book.
How to Save a Life
(Dreamcatcher #1) by Emma Scott★★★★ I really, really enjoyed the first part of the book, the second part lost me. It got a little too intense to the point where it wasn’t very believable.
Her Forbidden Hero
(The Hero #1) by Laura Kaye ★★★ If I had to sum this book up in one word it would be: forgettable.
