Confession: I’ve been THE WORST about reading blogs this month. On the upside, it’s because I’ve been mostly reading books. (I had a record reading month in July with 19 books read!)
But I wasn’t completely lame about it. I still found several amazing blog posts around the book blogger community, and I’m excited to share them with you!
Hopefully, you’ll be entertained and maybe even find some new, amazing, blogs to follow!
Favorite Book Blogger Posts from July 2018
Whenever anyone asks me for writing advice, my #1 answers is always, “READ!” Orangutan Librarian wrote a fantastic post about why writers should be readers.
Cafe Book Bean had a great 2 part series featuring America in literature. Perfect for celebrating the 4th of July!
If you love great discussion posts, you want to subscribe to Just Another Book in the Wall. I really enjoyed her post asking whether or not you read reviews for sequels this month.
Another great Independence Day post was over at Pages Unbound with a list of books set in every state! Such a cool idea!
CelineLingg had an adorable post that any book lover will swoon over, A Date with a Book!
Dusk Angel Reads set up this really cool Book Exchange, you can learn more about it over on her post!
Books, Vertigo, and Tea had a really great post about rereading books that originally missed the mark.
My TBR grew exponentially thanks to this post by Book Twins Reviews listing their MUST READ Sports Romances.
I’ve been LIVING for Chelle’s Book Ramblings’ tropish book recs, and this royalty post was full of great recs.
And, of course, my all-time favorite posts this month are completely self-serving because they are reviews for my book, A Soul Full of Stars.
I almost died when I saw my book listed among such amazing ones on Whit Reads Lit’s WWW Wednesday post, not to mention the 5-star rating! So much love!
And this incredible review by my dear friend Ginny (who I swear won my book giveaway fair and square, despite my biased towards her. :P) Ginny was pretty much the target audience for my novel since she and I have an eerily similar taste in books. I wrote what and how I like to read, so her thoughts on my book meant a lot to me. When I saw her review and heard about how much she enjoyed the book, I felt like I’d accomplished what I set out to do: create fun characters with interesting relationships and a swoony story for readers like me… with some poetry thrown in because, well, I’ll take any excuse to write poetry 🙂
And that’s all folks! I’m sure there were so many more fantastic blog posts out there that I missed (I wish I had all the time in the world to read your posts!). Be sure to let me know in the comments your favorite blog posts this month! (Or link to your similar post!)
Aww I’m so glad you were so excited! Your book totally deserves all 5 of those stars and more!!
