Behind the Screen: A Book Blogger Tag

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today is a fun tag that I found over on For the Love of Books.

The Original creator of the tag is Amber Elise @ Du Livre.

When did you start blogging and what was your first review?
Surprisingly enough, almost exactly a year ago.

Who/what inspired you to start blogging?
I’d been wanting to start a blog for awhile and for some reason a book blog never really crossed my mind until I started getting more and more active on Goodreads. I realized that I had a lot more to say about books than just reviews, so making a blog made sense!

What is a blog-related goal that you have?
This blog is 100% for fun so I suppose my only goal is to have it remain fun and make as many friends along the way as I can.

What is one thing you wish someone told you about blogging?
Hmmm… I’ve read so many great posts with really good advice, I honestly can’t think of anythign!

What was your biggest blog-related accomplishment?
Honestly, the fact that anyone reads it at all, never mind having a great group of readers.

What types of posts do you enjoy writing?
I’ve only done one, but I had a fun time with my Meet My Book Boyfriend post 🙂

Where do you usually blog? What does your setup look like?
I have a reading chair in the middle of my home library, it’s absolutely perfect for blogging!

What was your last 5-star read?
Legendary (Caraval #2) by Stephanie Garber!

What was your last 1-star read?
I actually don’t think I had a 1-star read. Typically, if a book is that bad, I won’t finish it.

What are three words that make you pick up a book?
Romance, forbidden, unique

What is your Hogwarts House?
Oh geez… I never finished Harry Potter! I have no idea!

What is your favorite reading environment?
I love reading on the beach 🙂

What advice would you give to new bloggers?
Enjoy every minute of it. So much hard work goes into blogging with very little return, if you aren’t enjoying every second of it, then maybe it’s time to reevaluate!

    1. Thanks! It really is nice and cozy. I like that it is next to a window so I get some natural light and can look outside occasionally.

I’m jealous of your beach reading! I haven’t been able to read on the beach in awhile! I’m usually chasing after two little ones 😛

  1. Why didn’t you finish Harry Potter? I get The Cursed Child, since thats some cringe-y fanfiction write there and I could write better than that book

    1. It’s the question of the ages! I’ve tried reading it twice and just never got into it. I can’t really put my finger on why :/

  2. Thank you so much for the tag!! I am in love with your home library! I want a big comfy chair like that in my bedroom to read. I think we will have to wait for our next house though! lol
