You know it’s a great Sunday when you wake up to an email from Audible about a sale!
This one is a small sale, but I still found some favorites. Only one book that I’ve read, but several that sound great (or that have been on my Wish List!)
I loved reading the reasons why these Audible Editors chose the books they included in this sale. It’s definitely worth browsing!
The Fine Print
- Members only
- +VAT where applicable
- Ends Thursday, May 10 2018 @ 11:59 PM PT
This may also be for US only, I can’t tell on my end.
My Favorites from the Audible Editors’ Choice Sale
Covers link to Audible.
Norse Mythology By: Neil Gaiman
I’ve heard so many amazing things, not only about this book, but this performance. Also, it’s Neil Gaiman. He is a known master storyteller.
Talking as Fast as I Can By: Lauren Graham
My daughter’s nickname is Roree, it’s spelled differently, but I totally named her after Rory Gilmore. I love Lauren Graham and I can’t wait to hear some insight into Gilmore Girls as well as her life!
I Can’t Make This Up By: Neil Strauss – contributor, Kevin Hart
I am such a huge fan of Kevin Hart. I actually didn’t even know about this audiobook, but I’m sure it’ll be hilarious!
The Bell Jar By: Sylvia Plath
Sylvia Plath has so many quotes that I love, I really need to read this classic. Also, I’m a big fan of Maggie Gyllenhaal, who narrates this audio.
The Night Circus By: Erin Morgenstern
This has been on my TBR forever. I’ve heard great things about the narration on this book, too!
Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) By: Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling is so relatable to me. Actually, my brother watches her TV show and continulously tells me that she basically is me. I have a feeling I’ll connect with this book. Also, I love the cast of readers.
The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue By: Mackenzi Lee
This is the one book I have read and absolutely am obsessed with. The audio is fantastic, Christian Coulson is one of my all-time favorite narrators and I can think of no one else who could narrate it better.
The Selection (The Selection, Book 1) By: Kiera Cass
There seems to be a love/hate relationship with this book among readers. Some people are obsessed, others think it’s horrible. I’m intrigued enough to form my own opinion on this one.
One More Thing (Stories and Other Stories) By: B. J. Novak
So many great people narrate this book, I can’t wait to read it. I love BJ Novak, too!
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe By: Benjamin Alire Saenz
First, how gorgeous is this cover? I’ve heard so many good things about this book, and it sounds like a sweet story. Who knows, if I end up loving it, I’ll probably buy a hard copy.
The Virgin Suicides By: Jeffrey Eugenides

I’ve been intrigued by this book since it was made into a movie a million and a half years ago. It’s supposed to be dark, but funny as well. We’ll see!

When Dimple Met Rishi By: Sandhya Menon
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this book since it came out!
The Edge of Everything By: Jeff Giles
This is supposed to be a really good romance, but it’s the first I’ve heard of it. I was sold by the Editor’s recommendation.
Some great books here, When Dimple Met Rishi was a fun read for me & I LOVED Gentleman’s Guide. I can’t make this up sounds good.

this is a great list Bree!
I can’t wait to hear what you thin of Kevin Hart’s book, I bought it when it came out but haven’t read it yet.
Also, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue seems like it’s going to be hilarious. It remind me of My Lady Jane.

I’m disappointed it;s for members only. Lol. I don;t want a membership. But I do sometimes add the audio to my kindle books.
I’ve loved the name Rory/ Roree 😉 ever since Gilmore Girls came out.
Night Circus on audio… hmm….

I know! I think a lot of their sales are US only, too, which sucks. I’m a big audiobook reader, so having a membership definitely makes sense for me.

I just got done listening to Lauren Graham and it’s so good. I love Gilmore Girls and there is one part of the book where she goes season by season and talks about the cultural and fashion trends of the season. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The only downside to this audiobook is that she included a lot of visual but apparently there is a PDF attachment to see those photos.
