This tag is a really cool tag and I’m super excited to participate in it!
Here’s how it works
When you get tagged, the person who tags you recommends three books they think you’d like. Then, it is your turn to recommend three books to that person and tag another person (you’ll recommend three books to that person as well.)
Thanks to Candyce from The Book Dutchesses for tagging me and recommending three great books:
Heart Stronger by Rachel Blaufeld, Geekerella by Ashley Poston, and Stage Kiss by M.F. Lorson
I read Geekerella right after Candyce recommended it to me and I loved it! Yay! The others are on my TBR now! One of them, Stage Kiss already was!
My recommendations for Candyce

The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor
This is such an awesome retelling of Alice in Wonderland and, oh my goodness, The Mad Hatter’s character is ah-mazing. I know you like fantasy and I feel like this series does not get enough attention.
The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
Fair warning: this book is heartbreaking. It will rip your heart out of your chest from the first page, particularly if you’ve ever lost anyone or if you have a sibling… BUT it is one of the most beautifully written novels I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading and the story is just as gorgeous.
Some Quiet Place by Kelsey Sutton
I know you appreciate unique worlds and this is one of the most unique I’ve ever read. In this book, emotions are manifested as actual beings for our narrator, but she can’t feel. She’s completely numb to emotions, but that doesn’t stop them from appearing around her. This book is haunting and lovely.
I am going to tag Peachy from Book Dragon Lair!
Peachy has actually already recommended a book that I loved previously, so it’s my turn to return the favor:
My Recommendations for Peachy
(Covers link to Goodreads)
The Nature of Jade by Deb Caletti
Peachy likes YA novels and this is one that I absolutely loved. One of the best things about it was how the main character has anxiety and how it was portrayed in this novel. Also… the writing is so beautiful. I hope you enjoy this one, Peachy!
No Matter the Wreckage by Sarah Kay
Word on the street is that Peachy likes poetry and this is one of my all-time favorite poetry books by my absolute favorite spoken word poets.
Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly
I read this book awhile ago, but I remember being absolutely swept away in this YA novel.
I can’t wait to see what books Peachy recommends to me!
I really, really hope you two enjoy these recs, but no worries if you don’t! ❤ Keep me updated if you read these!!
