As much as I’d love to invite all my book blogger friends over for some snacks and book talk on a regular basis, I know that isn’t entirely possible.
Instead, I’m inviting you into my home library for a bookshelf tour!
I contemplated doing this tour entirely through pictures, but ultimately decided that the best way to go about it would be via video… so that’s what I did.
This most certainly isn’t high quality video editing by any stretch of the imagination. I literally was sitting in my reading chair in my library while the girls were napping and was like, “Hey, my house is quiet for once… now would be a decent time to record a library tour!”
So, without further rambling (you’ll get enough of that in my video), here is my library/bookshelf tour!
Share with me your bookshelf/library tour links in the comments!
Very nice setup! I love all of the little knick-knacks and lights and of course the books ❤

Thank you! I love finding fun knick-knacks when I’m shopping or browsing Etsy. It’s ALMOST as fun as buying books to stuff my shelves with!

Yay! I’m glad. I always feel like I’m far more awkward when I speak than when I write, so I was a little nervous to post, but then I was also too lazy to take pictures and write out descriptions of everything. 😛 The laziness won.

I love your library! Your shelves are so organized and I loved the knick knacks. A dream come true for me. I currently have a small reading nook in our apartment with two low bookshelves and the books are two deep and starting to pile on top.

Thank you! Luckily my husband supports my collecting habits, so even when we had our little one-bedroom apartments, he’d let me put bookshelves up in our living room, even when they took up a ton of space! The three short bookshelves I have traveled with me from apartment to house – I’m surprised they survived! LOL!

Loveee your library tour!!! You have such a cozy and beautiful place. I definitely want to do one of mines, but it’s a mess right now haha. I haven’t had time to reorganize. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

Thank you! I can’t wait to see yours! I actually just helped my sister organize her library in her new house yesterday and I’m always looking for inspiration!

It’ll be a while before I get mines all fixed. I have one of those boxy shelves so I have like layers in one square shelf. You only see whatever books are on the front, but I probably have like 20-30 in each of them LOL. I want to get new shelves, but that won’t happen for a while. I’ll probably just reorganize my shelves now and do a really big tour.

I totally feel you. I had half as many shelves as I do now very recently and I had my books, like, three deep and falling out! It was so nice to be able to style the shelves a little bit with the extra space!

I can’t wait to reorganize and style my book shelves again. It just looks so intimidating right now. Plus, I don’t want to spend a whole weekend fixing. So much to do and to read haha.
