Favorite Blog Posts of January

Something that I’ve seen a few other bloggers do is make a round-up of their favorite posts by fellow bloggers.

I come across several great bookish blog posts as I browse my WordPress feed, so I figured I’d pull together a round-up of my favorite posts each month.

Here are my favorite blog posts from January 2018

Pages Unbound shared 4 ways to spread love to book bloggers — something that is entirely appropriate since this is my first round-up of favorite blog posts1

Pages Unbound also gave some great advice for blogging about following the FTC’s Disclosure Guidelines.

The Cursed Books had a great discussion about why you should start a book blog and I loved (and agreed with) all the reasons!

Chelle’s Book Ramblings had a hilariously relatable post about series and whether they are friends or foes.

Thrice Read shared thoughts on changing mindsets on reading and shared some admirable reading goals.

The Book Dutchesses talked about the love/hate relationship with people on book covers.

Book Snacks Blog shared 10 great Bullet Journal spread ideas for book bloggers and while I don’t use a BuJo anymore, I still love looking at spreads (and you probably will, too!)

Be Blogger (Official) shared 22 ways you can make someone smile. (DO IT)

Chelle’s Book Ramblings tackled the topic of Drawbacks for International Book Bloggers.

The Cursed Books gave some really helpful tips for social media, ARCs, and blogging.

Adventures of a Bibliophile has some great tips for blogging for beginners.

Just Another Book in the Wall had a really interesting comparison between hard copies of books vs. ebooks.

Dani’s Bookshelf shared some feminist book recommendations.

Perhaps my favorite post of the month comes from one of my favorite bookish blogs, Birdie Bookworm, in which she talks about parenting a reader. Such a great discussion.

What were some of your favorite blog posts last month?
