Happy Top 5 Wednesday!
Things have been hectic around here with school starting this week, but I couldn’t miss a Top 5 Wednesday. Especially this one since the theme is “Characters’ Fitness Routines You Want,” and I am currently on Month 3 of trying to up my fitness game.
As a little reminder, Top 5 Wednesdays is a theme/tag developed by GingerReadsLainey and moderated by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes. I discovered T5W thanks to Amanda over at A Court of Books and Love. Check out the GoodReads group if you’d like to participate, too!
And we’re off…
Feyre Archeron from the A Court of Thorns and Roses Series by Sarah J. Maas
Ok, so mostly I want her routine because in books 2 and 3 she works out with three great guys, but also because she is working out with magic and strength. Pretty freaking cool.

Rose Hathaway from the Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead
Working out with Dimitri Belikov? Sign me up. And not just because he’s gorgeous, but because he really pushes her to go beyond her limits. I really wish there was some sort of fitness class that was based on dhampir training lol!

Sal Casillas from Kulti by Mariana Zapata
Bringing it back to the “real” world for a moment, one thing I always wished I’d done was participated in sports more. As it happens, I’m the least athletic person known to mankind, so when I read Kulti, I was jealous of Sal’s ability. What a fun way to exercise!

Aiden Graves from The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata
Ok, so maybe not his exact workout routine, because it’s monstrous, but I mostly have him on this list because of his dedication to it from nutrition to the amount of time he puts in at the gym. It’s his life and he doesn’t stray from it.

Eliza Caelum from How to Kill a Rockstar by Tiffanie DeBartolo
It’s not a big part of the book, but Eliza is a runner. I’ve always been super jealous of runners because I am certainly not one. It’s incredibly uncomfortable for me to run and being that I live in Florida, the heat is way too intense for me. I much prefer cycling since it is a heck of a lot cooler given the wind + sweat situation. I just don’t move fast enough when I run to cool down from the wind!

And that wraps up my list! In putting it together, I realize how few characters in books I read have workout routines. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to come up with a list of five, but I’m happy with this list!
What about you? Which characters have your favorite workout routines? Comment below or link to your own Top 5 Wednesday post!
Oh geez, I can’t even think of one! I’m impressed you have so many. I can only think of characters running from something, haha.
